Peasant Meal

1.5 potatoes per person
1 onion for every 5 potatoes
Olive oil
Wieners, sausage or bacon (whatever you have on hand - doesn't have to be lots)
2 Tbsp - 1/4 cup pasta sauce (approximately)
Water

Peel and dice potatoes and put into a pot. Add chopped onion. Fry potatoes and onion in oil, stirring frequently, especially as they are almost fully cooking. Slice wieners (or sausage or bacon) and add to potato mixture. Add just enough pasta sauce to give it a bit of flavor. Add just enough water to soften the potatoes and make a bit of a sauce. Once the potatoes are fully cooked, your meal is ready!
